Fahsye in Rochester Blog, Democrat and Cronicle

A big Thank You to Andy Rau at the D&C Rochester Blog to the article on Fahsye:

“Fahsye:” A Bit Of Thailand In Rochester!

America IS a nation of immigrants!

I have always found it to be a pleasure to sample different pleasures, customs and cultures of the various peoples who make up our melting pot society.

And on April 6, a bit of Thailand’s sense of style will be opening in Rochester: “Fahsye” on 212 Winton Road North!

“Fahsye” is the brainchild of Thai native Suthida Fon Sakulsurarat and her husband Rich Tyson. “Fahsye” is a new boutique in Rochester that will be featuring accessories imported from Fon’s native Thailand. Sterling silver jewelry, silks, knitted scarves and hats and a line of handbags not currently available anywhere in the United States!

Fon came to Rochester to complete her college education, liked it here and stayed. It was in Rochester that Fon met her husband, Rich, who ran for City Council’s East District seat last year. A couple committed to Rochester!

When Fon’s position with Paetec was eliminated during its sale to Windstream, Fon felt that when life deals you lemons, it is a good idea to make lemonade! And Fon believes in Rochester enough to locate her boutique in the city! It will be interesting to see something new and intriguing that our city will have to offer!

“Fahsye’s” hours for its grand opening on April 6 will be 10:30 AM to 9 PM. So come on down!
